TURBO Records is other one of the numerous created and managed labels by Joey ROBINSON, Sr. and SYLVIA ( ROBINSON) in the 1970s.

 

If STANG, was more particularly reserved for the productions of the group THE MOMENTS, TURBO was essentially centred on the realizations proposed by Linda JONES, Lonnie YOUNGBLOOD and the group BROTHER TO BROTHER. Faithful to her line of conduct, SYLVIA produced SEVERAL "repries" there; it is on this label that we find the interpretation of the title " The Bottle " by the group BROTHER TO BROTHER, that of "Gonna Fly Now" (From ROCKY) by Lonnie YOUNGBLOOD. Finally, it is as well on TURBO as we find the original of "Let Your Mind Be Free", later revisited on SUGARHILL Records.
