Ce label fondé en 1993, permis a certains artistes de la scene TECHNO de DETROIT, de rebondir; Octave One, Eddie FOWLKES & Jay DENHAM. 430 West reflète la dualité de la musique à DETROIT.Eddie FOWLKES reflète le coté dur de la techno associée avec des beats durs, tandis que Terrence PARKER est quant à lui représentatif en 1993 d'un nouveau style qui combine les vieux sons des ordinateurs avec le chaleur et la profondeur de la SOUL. Il en résulte une TECHNO-GARAGE.
 		 This label founded in 1993, has succeeded in relauching previously know artists such as Octave ONe, Eddie FOWLKES, Jay DENHAM.430West's releases reflect the duality in Detroit's music; Eddie FOWLKES reflect the harshness of original techno coupled with harder beats, while the softer, deeper style of Terrence PARKER was indicative of a new style in the city in the 93's, combining the old computerised sound with the warmth and depth of early soul. The result was a kind of a raw TECHNO-GARAGE that ripped the gloss of the post-house pop that often paases for garage.
