>> At the end of the 80's this label has emerged and constitute now the Bridge between the mid-80's house and classical '70's disco revival. Garage music emerged from the far deep underground of NEW JERSEY. The touch of this sound is the typical piano melodies melted with heavy house tempo. You add soulful lyrics, a good remixer such as BLAZE or/and Paul SCOTT, and damned you've got the ACE BEAT sound.Note that few people have been interested at that period to this new label, and it surely explains why there are not so much productions.
However, Ace MUNGIN, the mentor, gave they're chance to the following ones; JOMANDA, CHARVONI (remember Black Havana), Dwen Richardson, Dereck-A-Jenkins, Tyrone Payton ("Party"), Nick Jones and Gordon Nelson. All those formed the first bastion of N.J garage sound.
