This is the third label of the hitmakers trio Holland-Dozier-Holland , founded in 1971.

In 1988, the Holland brothers resurrected MUSIC MERCHANT for a limited number of 12" releases., marketed and manufactured by AURIFIC records and distributed in the U.S.A by FantasyInc.
